About the Editor-in-Chief

Editor-in-Chief: Umer Abdullaevich Abdulgazis, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Transport, Honorary Professor of Sevastopol State University, Professor of the Department of Automobile Transport at the Fevzi Yakubov Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University, Simferopol, Republic of Crimea

In 1974, he graduated from the Andijan Agricultural Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in agricultural mechanization. From 1976 to 1991, he worked at the Bukhara Technological Institute as a lecturer, associate professor, and head of the Department of Heat Engineering and Heat Power Plants.
From 1981 to 1984, he completed his postgraduate studies at the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute. In November 1985, he defended his dissertation and received a Candidate of Technical Sciences degree from the Kharkiv Institute of Railway Engineers. From 1990 to 1993, he studied for a doctorate at the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, where he defended his doctoral dissertation in June 1994 and received a Doctor of Engineering degree.
From September 1995, he worked as a professor in the Department of General Technical Disciplines at the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University. From February 1999, he became the Dean of the Engineering and Pedagogical Faculty and Head of the Department of Automobiles and Automotive Industry, which he organized.
From February 2004, he became the university’s First Vice-Rector, having been appointed Vice-Rector of the Engineering and Technology Faculty since January, which he initiated.
He is currently a professor in the Department of Automobile Transport at the Fevzi Yakubov Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University.

Research interests: resource- and energy-saving technologies in automobile transport and mechanical engineering. He organized the accreditation and licensing of several specializations in “Vocational Education” at the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University, founded six laboratories in the Engineering and Technology Faculty, and launched a program in “Traffic Management and Regulation” at the university college.
He is the author of over 200 scientific papers, including more than three monographs, 19 textbooks, and 62 patents.
